Due to in
building testing dates, the April National Honor Society meeting has been moved
to Tuesday, April 17th at 3 pm. Members,
please plan accordingly.
9th - 11th grade
students-- you will be taking state assessments in April! On Tuesday, April 10th, The 10th graders will take the
PSAT10 and the 11th graders will take the SAT....9th and 12th graders
will not attend school. On Wednesday,
April 11th, the 9th graders will take the PSAT9.
School will be in regular session and all grades will be in attendance.
Lastly, on Tuesday, April 17th, the 11th
graders will take the CMAS 11 Science in the morning and return to
class once the test is complete. School will be in session for grades 9, 10,
and 12 You will need to bring a calculator and No. 2 pencils for your test
day.
For any students
interested in playing volleyball next year, there will be a short meeting Monday, April 9th in the Choir Room HO802 at 3:15 pm. Please see Coach Kindzerski-Gray or Coach
Goodmanson if you have any questions.
A Night of a Thousand Lights Prom Information:
Prom Ticket will go on sale the week of April 9-12 and
they are $45.00 each. Keep in mind you must have 95% attendance to
attend.
Prom Guest Passes are now
available for a LIMITED time. Please sign your guest pass out from the
deans office during your off period.
Mr. HHS sign up are in the main office.
Attention Seniors: All fines/fees
must be cleared to receive your cap and gown and to participate in the
graduation ceremony. The" Senior Fine List" is now posted
outside of the Bookkeeping Office. This list will be updated weekly, so check
often for any new fines/fees that may be assessed. Please see Mrs DeRenzo
in the bookkeeping office if you have questions regarding your IC fee account.
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
Visit the library to see how Horizon students have supported those who
have been affected by sexual assault. Help show your support by visiting wehearyouorg.wordpress.com and leaving your words of encouragement on the Contact
page.
Come join the Poetry Slam on Tuesday, April 17th at 3:15 in the Library. See you there!
Congratulations to the boys swim and dive team
with their amazing win against Poudre High School yesterday! Top finishes
include Ethan Pace, Schuyler Cramer, Jeff Bell, Mailen Odell, Luigi Brau,
Connor Schultz, Quentin Sandoval, Alex Bigelow, Dawson Argo, Logan Cole, and
Orlando Brady, who took either first or second in their events. Way to go
team!!
Attention all Community Service Club members
and any students who would like community service time: Our next meeting
is this Monday, April 9. Please join us for
refreshments and a short meeting to share volunteer opportunities this month!April 6).
