Tomorrow is End the "R" word day.  There will be a poster that students can pledge to end the usage of the "R" word during 5 and 6th hour outside of the student center.  Please sign your name to the poster to pledge to end the usage of the "R" word. 
Ultimate Frisbee Competitive Season is here! To learn more about our tournament season or Ultimate Frisbee Club in general, come to our Information Meeting -- Tuesday after school in Q2710. No experience? No problem! We'll teach you!"

Horizon’s profile staff is now accepting submissions for its creative journal.  You can submit poetry, photography, song lyrics, short stories, fashion inspiration, illustrations and more now until March 9th.  You can pick up a flyer in the main office.

Attention Seniors:  All fines/fees must be cleared to receive your cap and gown and to participate in the graduation ceremony. The" Senior Fine List" is now posted outside of the Bookkeeping Office. This list will be updated weekly, so check often for any new fines/fees that may be assessed.  Please see Mrs DeRenzo in the bookkeeping office if you have questions regarding your IC fee account.
NHS will be hosting a Ping Pong for Heart tournament on March 14th.  Registration is $5 and will be in the main lobby from February 27th- March 9th periods 3rd-8th.  All proceeds will be going to the American Heart Association.
ATTENTION JUNIORS
Doorway to College's “ZAPS SAT Test-Prep Seminar" will be coming to Horizon on March 21st (1:00-3:30pm) & March 22nd (3:00-5:30pm)
For an opportunity to participate in this awesome two-day after school seminar, you must sign up online at www.doorwaytocollege.com or call 877-927-8378. 
The cost of this two-day seminar is partially covered by HHS for the first 100 students who sign up – so it will cost you only $39
Don’t pass up this great opportunity to get “prepped” for the SAT Test coming in April.

Mr.Tonjes will be selling ice cream for only $2 in the athletic hallway. All proceeds go back to Horizon Athletics. Come and get your ice cream Hawks!!!

Seniors if you have an order placed with Jostens you can pick it up in the book keeping office once you have paid

"Anyone who is interested in being apart of the Positive PE class please fill out an application.  Application forms are located in the counseling office.  This is a requirement in order to be considered for the class next year.  See Mrs. Hernandez with questions."


PROM IS ON APRIL 13TH PLEASE KEEP IN MIND YOU MUST HAVE 95% ATTENDANCE.  So please go to class!

Prom Guest Passes are now available for a LIMITED time.  Please sign your guest pass out from the deans office during your off period.

If you are going to the Backpacks to Briefcases field trip, remember to get your permission forms filled out and returned to the Counseling office no later than March 16th.
