A Night of a Thousand Lights Prom Information: 
On the HHS Homepage students can find Prom Royalty Nominations online during the week of March 19-23 and Prom Royalty Voting online during the week of April 9-12.  Prom Ticket will go on sale the week of April 9-12 and they are $45.00 each.  Keep in mind you must have 95% attendance to attend.

Prom Guest Passes are now available for a LIMITED time.  Please sign your guest pass out from the deans office during your off period.

Come support our junior SOAR Big Idea Project dedicated to raising awareness regarding the issue of sexual assault. The Big Idea group, We Hear You is hosting an awareness week in the library starting today March 19th to the 23rd periods 1-8. 

Make dinner a selfless act by joining us for a fundraiser to support Horizon High School.  Come in to Chipotle at 951 E. 120th ave on Monday, March 19th between 5pm and 9pm.  Show the flyer on your phone or print one out and show to the cashier to make sure that 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Horizon High School.

"Congrats to the boys swim and dive team against Broomfield this week. Top finishers include Jeff Bell in 1st  the 100 breast, Ethan Pace 2nd in the 200 I M and 100 fly, Quinten Sandoval 1st in diving, Connor Schultz 2nd in diving, and the 200 medley relay team that qualified for Coaches invite of Jeff Bell, Schuyler Cramer, Ethan Pace, and Dawson Argo. "

Monday April 2 is Autism Awareness Day.   Please wear blue.

Attention students and staff, come out and support the Unified Basketball this week. The team plays Tuesday against the Thornton PD and Thursday at Northglenn High. The games at 3:30pm. Pack the gym and support the team Hawks.

We have lowered our price for coffee to $1.00.  Come get your caffeine fix at the Hawks Nest!

Attention Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors:  There are 15 spaces available for the
official ASVAB test which will take place on 3/21/18 from 9:00AM to 11:30AM here at Horizon High School.  This is an aptitude test to identify individual strengths and skills and how these traits incorporate into the workforce.  There is no cost for the test and spaces are first come, first serve. Sign up in the Counseling office.
Mr. HHS sign up are in the main office. 

Ladies and Gentlemen JC Penny’s and Sephora are running a Prom special so please come by the counseling office to pick up some information!

Attention Seniors:  All fines/fees must be cleared to receive your cap and gown and to participate in the graduation ceremony. The" Senior Fine List" is now posted outside of the Bookkeeping Office. This list will be updated weekly, so check often for any new fines/fees that may be assessed.  Please see Mrs DeRenzo in the bookkeeping office if you have questions regarding your IC fee account.
ATTENTION JUNIORS
Doorway to College's “ZAPS SAT Test-Prep Seminar" will be coming to Horizon on March 21st (1:00-3:30pm) & March 22nd (3:00-5:30pm)
For an opportunity to participate in this awesome two-day after school seminar, you must sign up online at www.doorwaytocollege.com or call 877-927-8378. 
The cost of this two-day seminar is partially covered by HHS for the first 100 students who sign up – so it will cost you only $39
Don’t pass up this great opportunity to get “prepped” for the SAT Test coming in April.
