Come support your Lady Hawks in their playoff game against Rocky Mountain tonight @ 6:30 p.m.!!!!
Everyone must pay at the gate to attend. Prices are $6.00 for students and seniors and $8.00 for adults. The only pass allowed are CHSAA passes.

THERE WILL BE A MEETING WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH @ 12:30 IN BIG GYM FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN PLAYING SOFTBALL IN THE FALL. Camp, tryout, off-season, and game/practice information will be announced.

Seniors -- The Senior Class Panoramic Picture was taken this week.  The deadline for ordering pictures at the lowest price is this Sunday, February 25th.  For on-line ordering or questions, please go to www.BestClassPicture.com.  Students received order forms at the picture and extras are in the office.

Seussical the musical is Feb 23rd & 24th and March 2nd and 3rd tickets are $8 for students and $10 for adults and you can purchase tickets on the Horizon website.
Ashe Beeson won a Gold Key for Jewelry and Ryan Searls won a Silver Key for Drawing/Illustration in the Scholastics Art Competition? 
ATTENTION JUNIORS
Doorway to College's “ZAPS SAT Test-Prep Seminar" will be coming to Horizon on March 21st (1:00-3:30pm) &  March 22nd (3:00-5:30pm)
For an opportunity to participate in this awesome two-day after school seminar, you must sign up online at www.doorwaytocollege.com or call 877-927-8378. 
The cost of this two-day seminar is partially covered by HHS for the first 100 students who sign up – so it will cost you only $39
Don’t pass up this great opportunity to get “prepped” for the ACT Test coming in April.

Students, do you like ice cream? Have you seen the ice cream machine outside of the Trainer's Office in the athletic hallway? Each day, after school, Mr Tonjes will be selling ice cream for only $2. All proceeds go back to Horizon Athletics. Come and get your ice cream Hawks!!!

Athletic Check-in for spring sports will begin February 15th-23rd. Please check the athletic web page on our Horizon website horizon.adams12.org for detailed information about spring sports.

Anyone who has the completed spring paperwork, can turn them in the athletic office now.

Required paperwork is available on that page to download or can be picked up in the athletic office. 


Seniors if you have an order placed with Jostens you can pick it up in the book keeping office once you have paid

"Anyone who is interested in being apart of the Positive PE class please fill out an application.  Application forms are located in the counseling office.  This is a requirement in order to be considered for the class next year.  See Mrs. Hernandez with questions."

French National Honor Society will be collecting donations of prom dresses & suits.  Please drop off your donations in N2403.

PROM IS ON APRIL 13TH PLEASE KEEP IN MIND YOU MUST HAVE 95% ATTENDANCE.  So go to class!

Attention Sophmores, Juniors and Seniors
March 22nd the Adams County Education Consortium is hosting their annual Backpacks to Briefcases.  This event will be held at MSU Denver.   This program is designed to help you make a successful transition from high school to the work world and/or higher education by providing you with valuable information on how best to present yourself in business and professional settings.   

Sign up sheets are located in the Counseling Office.  Space is limited!
