PICTURE RETAKES ARE OCTOBER 10TH!!!!  You must get your ID picture taken if you want to be in the yearbook.

Attention all students! We are designating Mondays during October as College Gear Day.  Join Horizon Staff in wearing gear from your favorite college!  The first day is October 2nd!

The Hawks General Store will be open during 3rd hour on Tuesday and Thursday.  If you need gum, earbuds, or school supplies, come see us in the hawk store.  We are located in the lobby. Free hug with a purchase.  See you there!!

Interested in a career in law enforcement?  The City of Thornton is holding an open house to bring on new police Explorers on Monday October 9th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the police training room.  See officer Quintana for further details.

Hawk readers, the library invites you to the Reading Without Walls Challenge. Let's stretch our hearts, minds and skills by choosing books that take us out of our reading "box". Come to the library to get your bookmark plus more information and enter the challenge today! 

Trunk or treat is the 28th in the parking lot from 1-3!  The cost is $1 each.


If you are planning on participating in a winter sport, please plan on attending the Winter Athletic Parent/Coach Meeting on October 26th at 6:00pm in the student center.

If you are interested in playing a winter sport, come to the
pre-season open gym times.
Anyone interested in playing is welcome!
