Hawks nest will open on September 5th
ATTENTION SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS:
Students NO Parking in the staff lots or any other reserved parking spots
Parking permits will be available for purchase during your off hour and lunch at the front desk
Students who drive to school must have either a Regular lot permit or a dirt lot permit to park at Horizon. You will need to have a permit on your car as of 8/28/17 or you will receive a parking violation. Please come to the deans office this week to get your parking approval or dirt lot permit. Cost is $50 for regular parking permit and the dirt lot permit is free.
All students:
Lockers can be reserved with Mrs. Harris in the deans office during your off hour and lunch. You can also report any requests for a locker repair with Mrs. Harris.
Welcome back! Please visit us for breakfast Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays from 7 am to 7:45. On Wednesdays breakfast will be served from 7:45 until 9:00. A wide variety of options are available daily including both hot & cold choices, assorted fruits and milk.
Lunch will be served from 10:00 until 12:45 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesdays we will be opened from 9:30 until 11:30. A wide assortment of choices are available daily. Please check the signs in the kitchen for daily options.
As always we look forward to servings you nutritious & delicious meals. Please try to have your IDS ready to be scanned. This is not mandatory but helps the line move faster.
Students, are you interested in being our HHS mascot? We need a student to be the mascot for our school at some athletic events. You must be willing to wear the Hawk costume and display respectful sportsmanship. Please see Mrs. Fleeman in the main office if you are interested in serving our school as The Hawk!
Clubs
Hey Hawk Readers! Battle of the Books Club first meeting will be Monday, August 28th at 3pm in the library. See Ms. Poinier with questions.
Hawks community service club first meeting is September 11 and 25 from 3:00-3:30 pm in room 02513.
Interest in Japanese Culture? Want to watch animation from other countries? Come join Anime Club which meets Monday from 3:15-4:30 in Q2715.
Creative writing clubs first meeting will be 8/31 in the library at 3:00 pm
All freshmen if you did not receive an ID during orientation please go to the main office to pick your ID on your off hour or luch.
