Announcements

Just a reminder, the Hawk store in the main lobby is still open during 8th hour.  We have earbuds, gum, pencils, pens, paper, and notebooks.  If you need it for class or those upcoming finals, come down and see us!

It's almost time for yearbooks! Distribution for seniors will start on May 5th, and for all other students on May 8th. If you haven't purchased a book yet, place your order as soon as possible as they are almost sold out. You can buy a book at jostensyearbooks.com. See Ms. Root with questions.

Student Government is hosting the spring blood drive.  Hurry down to the Main Office to sign up If you are interested in donating there is only one spot left. The Blood drive is this Friday, April 21 in the auditorium lobby!  If you are 16 or 17 be sure to get the parent permission slip signed and bring it with you to your appointment. If you signed up yesterday please come to the Main Office and pick up the correct parent permission form.

Students & staff – tomorrow is the Student Body Presidential elections.  Be sure to have your voice heard!  Vote in the Main lobby periods 1 – 8!

If you are interested in being a LINK leader applications are due by Monday April 24th.  Links to the application can be found on the Horizon home page or see Mrs. Hoffmann or Mrs. Kathan for details.

Counseling

Please stop by the Counseling Office to complete the Senior Survey.  The Senior Survey is the ONLY way to have your official transcripts sent to the school you plan to attend after graduation.  We will have several chrome books available for your use to complete this short – two minute - survey on the counter.   The survey must be completed before you can check-out on May 12th.   If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Cummings in Counseling.  Thanks!

Senior News

Seniors--the final voting for senior favorites is available on the Horizon webpage. Voting will end at 3 pm on Friday, April 21st, so hop on and vote today!

You should have received a letter in the mail with important information regarding practice, check-out and graduation, please pay special attention to what is and isn’t allowed in the CU Event Center.  This applies to students, staff and all guests attending the graduation ceremony.

Do you have a fee or fine?  Make sure you check the senior fine list now posted next to the bookkeeping office.  Please check it often as new fines will be posted daily. All fines and fees must be cleared by May 1st in order to pick up your cap and gown and participate in the graduation ceremony.
