Bollman Technical Education Center will have its annual Open House on Thursday, January 19th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Please stop by BTEC and learn about our Career and Technical programs and meet the instructors! ProStart Open House will be held at the ESC. All other programs are at BTEC. A Spanish interpreter will be available on site at BTEC if needed. For more information go to the BTEC website at bollmantech.adams12.org
Mark your calendars for Wednesday, January 11th, Freshman (9th) will be taking the MAPS test, Sophomores (10th) will take the PSAT Practice test, Juniors (11th) will take the SAT Practice test. Seniors will not report to school on this day. Take this opportunity to be productive by working on school work or projects you may have been assigned.
Student Government is hosting a Peach Fuzz Volleyball game at the end of the month. This is open to junior and senior boys. The game is on Wednesday, Jan. 25th @ 2:00 p.m. If you are a Junior or Senior boy and would like to play pick up a form in the Main Office.

Student Government is having a Talent Show on Jan 24th@7:00 pm. Auditions will be January 10th from 3:15 – 4:00 and January 12th from 3:15 – 4:00 in room Q2701.
You must have 95% or better attendance to attend Prom as of the beginning 2nd quarter. Please check the list in the hallway across from the Dean's office.

Seniors - please note that we are in the process of uploading your mid year transcripts to be sent off to colleges. Due to this fact NO transcripts will be sent until Wednesday, January 11th If you have questions, please see your counselor.
Juniors and Seniors! Are you ready for some post-secondary planning? HHS is hosting a Career Fair on Friday, January 20th during all lunches. Come to the Auditorium Lobby and see representatives about Police, Fire, Auto Technology, Cosmetology, Aviation, Transportation and MUCH more. This is a great opportunity to check out your interests or maybe to find a new path! We hope to see you all there!

Horizon's wrestling team had a number of wrestlers win or place in the Rangeview Raiders tournament on Saturday!
Horizon junior varsity team placed 3rd and the varsity team took first place! Please congratulate the team and school for their outstanding performance over the weekend! JV - Aaron Rhea & Luke Hymus took 1st. Multiple 2nd & 3rd place for JV. Varsity - Zach Lay, Josh Plantz & Joey Orrino took 1st place, Multiple 2nd & 3rd place also for Varsity.
