Horizon Students & Parents: Help support the Music & Theatre Department raise some money and enjoy some delicious food. All day Thursday, October 27th, Big City Burrito at 136th & Orchard Pkwy, will donate a portion of the cost of your food to the Music & Theatre Department. Come on out and enjoy some great food and support a great group of Hawks!
Counseling
Attention Seniors! Horizon High School will host a FAFSA (Free Application For Student Aid) night on October 26, 2016 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM in the library. If you are in need of completing your financial aid application for the 2017-2018 college academic year, please plan to attend. The Educational Opportunity Center will be on hand to assist you. Your parent/guardian will need to attend with you and bring their completed 2015 tax return.

Attention Seniors: The Daniels Fund Scholarship application is now open!
The deadline is November 30th. This scholarship pays for 100% of your college expenses; however, families must first show economic need before the application process can begin and all applicants must complete the 2017/18 FAFSA prior to applying. For more information, go to the Daniels Fund website at www.DanielsFund.org. Please inform Mrs. Neumann if you are applying for the Daniels Fund scholarship.
Sports, Drama, & Clubs
Do you love to eat? Our very own Poms are having a fund raiser at Applebee’s on 120th & I-25 today. All day long Applebee’s will donate 15% of your check to our Poms. Stop by the Main Office and pick up one of the flyers to show your server. Come, enjoy and support a great group of ladies.
Horizon's Gender Sexuality Alliance invites you to wear purple this Thursday to show support for our LGBTQ friends. Please take a stand with the nation against bullying of LGBTQ youth by wearing purple this Thursday!
Winter Athletic Check-In will be November 2nd-9th. Paperwork is not accepted on November 14th. Don't forget to have your updated physical and payment. Required paperwork is on line on the athletic page or you can pick them up in the athletic office during school hours.
The Athletic Parent Meeting has been changed due to a conflict. It will be held on October 25th instead of November 1st. 6:00pm in the student center.
