Announcements 

Senior meeting this Wednesday12:00 in the Auditorium. 

Students please be respectful of the Main Entrance and do not throw any footballs, basketballs, tennis etc. 

You must have 95% or better attendance to attend Prom beginning 2nd quarter.  Please check list in hallway across from the Dean's office.

Amazing is just one word to describe our Hawks Marching Band, ranking 10th in the State.  Way to go Hawks!!!

Horizon High School students invite your parents to come and learn about a unique Costa Rica adventure and Spanish immersion opportunity in summer 2017. An informational meeting for families will be held on Thursday, Nov. 3rd at 5:30 p.m. in room M2306. RSVP to the meeting either to Señora Terada (upper staff) or Leslie Foster by texting 303-638-9270.

Counseling

Attention Seniors: The Daniels Fund Scholarship application is now open!
The deadline is November 30thThis scholarship pays for 100% of your college expenses; however, families must first show economic need before the application process can begin and all applicants must complete the 2017/18 FAFSA prior to applying.  For more information, go to the Daniels Fund website at www.DanielsFund.org.  Please inform Mrs. Neumann if you are applying for the Daniels Fund scholarship.

Sports, Drama, & Clubs

Sweet Sixteen Soccer playoff game this Wednesday, November 2nd against Fairview The game will start @ 6:30 at Fairview.

Our football boys came away with a 35-31 win over Denver East on Friday night!  You guys Rock!!

Congratulations to the Hawks Volleyball for your win at the Bennet tournament.  Good job ladies!

Great showing Natalie Platil at the State Quarter Finals!!

Winter Athletic Check-In will be November 2nd-9th. Paperwork is not accepted on November 14th. Don't forget to have your updated physical and payment. Required paperwork is on line on the athletic page or you can pick them up in the athletic office during school hours.
