Announcements

Homecoming Guest Passes are available in the Dean's office.  If you are planning on bringing someone who does not attend Horizon HS you must have one of these passes filled out.  In order to purchase a homecoming ticket all students must have 95% attendance.

Attention Seniors: Horizon High School will host a financial aid information night on Wednesday September 14, 2016 from 5:00PM to 6:00PM in the Student Center.  The Educational Opportunity Center will be here to provide detailed information about financial aid options for college and how/when to apply for financial aid for the 2017-2018 academic year.  Please plan to attend with a parent/guardian.

Attention all students!  If you are passionate about public speaking and debating dynamic topics, please attend an interest meeting for Horizon's first Speech and Debate Club.  The interest meeting is today from 3:00 to 4:00 in room D0408.  If you have any questions, please contact Reagan Kennedy, Ms. Pakenham or Ms. Gonzales.

All students also need a dirt lot permit to park in the dirt lot. Please see Mr. Garcia in the Deans office to get dirt lot permit. 

Counseling

Attention Students!  The Aviation field trip is this Friday September 16, 2016.  If you have not turned in your permission slip to Ms. Bell in the Counseling Office, you MUST do so by 12:30PM Wednesday September 14, 2016.  No permission slip= no field trip!

Sports, Drama, & Clubs

Congratulations to the HHS Marching Hawks for being awarded 2nd place (out of 11 bands) in the marching band category at the Arvada Harvest Festival Parade!  The Marching Hawks will represent Hawk Nation in the Broomfield Days Parade this Saturday. Come cheer them on to first place!
