Senior News

Starting April 11th all Seniors must complete the Senior Survey in Naviance.  It is the ONLY place you can request your final transcript to be sent out after graduation, showing your final grades & graduation date.  Final transcripts will not be sent with any other request.  This task needs to be completed by your final day on May 11 to receive your cap & gown.  You can take the survey on a computer, tablet or SmartPhone.  We have three computers set-up in counseling for your convenience.  If you need assistance with your Naviance Log-In we will be glad to help you in the Horizon Counseling Office.

The senior fine list is now posted next to the bookkeeping office.  Please check often as new fines will be posted daily. All fines and fees must be cleared by May 11th in order to pick up your cap and gown and participate in the graduation ceremony.

If you did not pick up your Announcements, and there is no remaining balance, you can pick them up at the Bookkeeping Office.  Pay your remaining balance atwww.jonstens.com.

Graduation practice & check-out, May 13th 9:30 – 10:30 (practice), 10:30 – 1:30(check-out).  It is mandatory that you attend so let your employer know now that you will need the day off from work.

Eight students represented Horizon at DECA's International Career Development Conference the past few days.  Competition at this level is extremely competitive.  We are bursting with pride for junior, Jarred Gurss, he took top 10 in his event.  There were approximately 180 other projects in that event (Sports & Entertainment Promotion Plan). Jarred put in hundreds of hours of work.  His hard work and dedication paid off, he is a DECA International Champion!

Congratulations to the Horizon Boys and Girls Track and Field teams, as both won the Five Star Championships at North Stadium Wednesday, besting all the other schools in Adams 12.  This is back-to-back years that both the boys and girls teams have won the district track and field championships!

Cheer tryouts May 2nd – May 5th from 4:00 – 6:00 in the Student Center.
