Announcements

Horizon High School has once again implemented an attendance policy for students, grades 9-12 to be able to attend prom.  Students wishing to attend prom are expected to maintain a minimum 95% attendance rate starting October 19, 2015 through April 21, 2016.  We are only monitoring unexcused absences and unexcused partial absences. 
Please make sure you call the Attendance line at 720-972-4597 to excuse your students.

Bollman Technical Education center is having their spring conferences on Thursday, March 10th from 4:00pm to 6:30pm.  Teachers will be in their classrooms to answer any of your questions.  ProStart conferences will be held at the ESC.  For additional information go to the BTEC website at www.Bollmantech.adams12.org

Congratulations to our Battle of the Books Club for another victory! One of our teams, including Brianna Corcoran, Savannah Fillerup, Olivia Hamilton and Aneyah Wood and won our Realistic genre competition on Monday and our other team got 2nd place! Go readers!
Sports, Drama & Clubs

Come support the Lady Hawks this Friday night at 6:30 p.m. as they play Castleview in the first round of the state championship playoffs.  Prices are only $5.00 for students K-12 & senior citizens, and $7.00 for adults.  No student discounts or employee passes accepted.  Only CHSAA passes will be accepted. GO LADY HAWKS!!!

Attention students interested in community service hours: the Hawk's Community Service Club will have an opportunity to provide child care and play fun games and activities on Sunday, March 13 from 12-4 at a church auction in Broomfield. We will carpool from HHS. If you are interested, see Ms. Peratt in room 02513 periods 1, 3 and 6 or room D0404 periods 4,5, and 8 for more information.

Come see the Musical “Rent” Friday and Saturday, February 26 & 27 or March 4 & 5 at 7:00 p.m.  Only $8.00 for students and Senior citizens, $10.00 for adults.

Wrestlers - equipment and uniform check in is Thursday after school at 3:30pm in the loft.

SENIOR NEWS

Cap & Gown pictures will be on the Stage in the Student Center, Friday, February 26 from 7:00 – 3:00. Caps & gowns will be provided.  There is a V at the top of the maroon gown and a small portion of your neckline will show, please consider that when dressing for the day.  Order forms can be picked up in the Main OfficePictures can be taken and purchased at a later date or purchased the day they are taken. This is the only day they will be here. NO RETAKE DAY!

If you did not pick up your Announcements last Thursday, and there is no remaining balance, you can pick them up at the Bookkeeping Office.
