Announcements

Attention female students......Join us for a FREE day of learning and fun on Friday, February 12th at Bollman Tech!!  Explore hands-on workshops and career opportunities for women. Bollman Tech staff will provide tours and offer project-based workshops.  Lunch will be provided for all participants.  Register on the Bollman website at www.bollmantech.adams12.org

Horizon High School has once again implemented an attendance policy for students, grades 9-12 to be able to attend prom.  Students wishing to attend prom are expected to maintain a minimum 95% attendance rate starting October 19, 2015 through April 21, 2016.  We are only monitoring unexcused absences and unexcused partial absences. 
Please make sure you call the Attendance line at 720-972-4597 to excuse your students.

Sports, Drama & Clubs

Community Service Club members signed up for the event at Precious Child this Thursday: we will meet in the lobby at 4:30 to carpool and return about 8:30/9:00 pm. On Saturday, we will meet for Meals on Wheels at the flagpole at 9:30 am and return about 12:30, after delivering valentines to residents at Elmshaven.

Horizon Girls Swim goes to State! State Swim Meet is this Friday at EPIC in Fort Collins. Congratulations to the following girls.

Crafting club LMC  - 3:10
Girls soccer will have workouts in the weight room on Tuesdays and Thursday from 3:30-5:00.
Battle of the Books Club meets 1st and 3rd Tuesdays and 2nd and 4th Thursdays in the Library from 3:00-4:00..  –Sara Poinier                         (Feb. 11, Feb. 25March 10March 24, April 14, April 28)
National Art Honor Society is every 2nd and 4th Thursday from 3:00 – 4:00  – Laurel Fulton

Friday

Green and Clean meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month 12:30 to 1:00, and after school the 1st Friday of each month.  – Steve Lash

It's time to nominate your classmates for senior favorites! Please visit the Horizon website to find the link to nominate. Nominations must be received by Wednesday, February 17.

Announcements will be available for pick up on the stage in the Student Center, Thursday, February 18th from 9:00 – 2:00
