Students-do not walk on the pond in the wetlands. The ice on the pond is very unstable. You should not be in the wetland area unless accompanied by a teacher.
Attention female students......Join us for a FREE day of learning and fun on Friday, February 12th at Bollman Tech!! Explore hands-on workshops and career opportunities for women. Bollman Tech staff will provide tours and offer project-based workshops. Lunch will be provided for all participants. Register on the Bollman website at www.bollmantech.adams12.org
Horizon High School has once again implemented an attendance policy for students, grades 9-12 to be able to attend prom. Students wishing to attend prom are expected to maintain a minimum 95% attendance rate starting October 19, 2015 through April 21, 2016. We are only monitoring unexcused absences and unexcused partial absences.
Please make sure you call the Attendance line at 720-972-4597 to excuse your students.
Seniors: Please report ALL scholarship offers, even if you are not accepting them, to Tami Jones in the Main Office. Continue to check Horizons Senior Page on the Horizon website http://horizon.adams12.org/ for important dates and information.
Sports, Drama & Clubs
Attention Horizon Girls~Any girl interested in golf, there is a very important meeting February 1st in B0200 at 3:30.
For anyone that is planning on trying out next year for softball, there will be a short meeting (3:15-4:00) in room E0508 on Friday, January 29th to discuss off-season opportunities.
Thursday
Girls soccer will have workouts in the weight room on Tuesdays and Thursday from 3:30-5:00.
Crafting Club -3:10 - LMC -Sandi Tucker
Battle of the Books Club meets 1st and 3rd Tuesdays and 2nd and 4th Thursdays in the Library from 3:00-4:00.. –Sara Poinier
National Art Honor Society is every 2nd and 4th Thursday from 3:00 – 4:00 – Laurel Fulton

Green and Clean meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month 12:30 to 1:00, and after school the 1st Friday of each month. – Steve Lash
