Come out and support the HHS Marching Hawks this weekend as they march in the Denver Parade of Lights! The Marching Hawks are one of 6 high school marching bands to be selected for the parade. Friday's parade is at 8 p.m., Saturday's is at 6 p.m.
The Adams County 8th grade career fair has been rescheduled and Bollman Technical Education will be participating in it. The 8th grade career fair is today. Because of this there will be no school at BTEC. If you take a BTEC class please stay at your high school during the hours you would normally attend BTEC. Thanks!
Horizon High School has once again implemented an attendance policy for students, grades 9-12 to be able to attend prom. Students wishing to attend prom are expected to maintain a minimum 95% attendance rate starting October 19, 2015 through April 21, 2016. We are only monitoring unexcused absences and unexcused partial absences.
Please make sure you call the Attendance line at 720-972-4597 to excuse your students.
The Sophomore SOAR class would like to put forth a challenge to each student and staff member here at Horizon, to take PRIDE in the Hawk Nation and clean up our school. As you are going about your day and see trash please pick it up and throw it away or recycle it if possible. Let’s clean it up Horizon!
