Horizon High School has once again implemented an attendance policy for students, grades 9-12 to be able to attend prom. Students wishing to attend prom are expected to maintain a minimum 95% attendance rate starting October 19, 2015 through April 21, 2016. We are only monitoring unexcused absences and unexcused partial absences.
Please make sure you call the Attendance line at 720-972-4597 to excuse your students.
Horizon FBLA will be hosting our annual blood drive on Friday, November 6 in the auditorium lobby. There is a schedule of appointments in E0505 to fill with 54 staff and student donors. If you have never given blood, please consider donating. Every pint donation has the potential to save up to 3 lives!
If you are under 18, parent permission is required. Parent permission forms can be picked up in E0505. See Mr. Wilke with any questions.
Seniors: A Jostens representative will be at Horizon Monday & Tuesday, November 9th & 10 during all lunches to take your cap & gown, announcement, mug orders

Seniors! Please make sure that you are requesting your transcripts in Naviance. If you have a transcript that needs to be sent either before or during the Thanksgiving break, you MUST request it in Naviance by Thursday, November 19th. No transcripts will be sent during the week of Thanksgiving break.
Sports, Drama & Clubs
Hey students come cheer on the Varsity playoff football team this Friday, November 6th. Just a reminder that no passes or punch cards are allowed. The only pass allowed is the CHSAA card. Ticket prices are $5.00 for students and $8.00 for adults.
Anyone interested in community service hours, the Hawk's Community Service Club meets this Monday the 9th from 3:00-3:30 pm in room 02513. We will be signing up for November and December activities such as the Bunny Rescue, Foodbank of the Rockies and the Giving Tree! See you Monday!
Boys Basketball: Winter Camp November 9-10 from 3:30-5:30 (all grade levels). TRYOUTS November 12-13 from 3:30-6:30, and Saturday November 14 from 9:00-12:00.
