Announcements: Friday, 05-08-2015

Attention all students:  All lockers must be totally cleaned out by May 22 at 3:00 p.m.  Also check lost and found and the Deans office to claim any lost items. 

Vote for your favorite shoes on the Vans Custom Culture website tomorrow through May 11th.   vans.com/customculture.  .

If you signed up for a Bollman class for next year, you can check the list in the Counseling Office to see if you made it.

Please return all library books to the library and classroom books to the teacher that checked it out to you.  If the teacher is not available you may return your book to the library.

Counseling

ATTENTION BACKPACKS TO BRIEFCASES ATTENDEES.  IF YOU HAVE NOT TURNED IN YOUR PERMISSION SLIP TO GO ON THIS FIELD TRIP, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND.  PLEASE SEE MS. PAKENHAM IN THE COUNSELING OFFICE TODAY TO TURN IN YOUR PERMISSION SLIP AND OBTAIN IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS FIELD TRIP.
Senior News

All fees and fines MUST be paid to graduate. The senior fine list is posted outside the bookkeeping office.  The list will be updated weekly as fines are added for field trips and lost books so please check often. 

Graduation practice and check-out are on May 15th.  Practice is 9:30 so you should arrive at 9:15 to be ready promptly at 9:30.
Check-out will follow practice. Questions call Tami Jones at 720-972-4400

Yearbook distribution for Seniors Only will start May 7th.
Sports, Clubs & Drama

Open gym for volleyball – Mondays, 6:30-8:30 & Fridays, 4:30-6:30.

A big congratulations to the Horizon boys’ and girls’ track and field teams for their performances at the Front Range League Championships.  Many season bests, many athletes made finals in their events, and the following athletes earned All-Conference honors:  Jacob Dinkel 2nd Team All-Conference 400 m Dash, Madison Mooney 2nd Team All-Conference 1600 m Run, Taylor Bakel, Natalie Platil, Megan Mooney, & Madison Mooney 1st Team All-Conference 4x800 m Relay with a school record 9:29!

Congratulations Heather Kroll - qualified for State with an 80.  She tied for 2nd place. It's on to State in Loveland. Way to golf!!

A congratulations goes to Abby Wohlford who qualified for state in Tennis.  Good luck Abby!

Community Service Club will have the last meeting on Monday, May 11 at 3:00 in Room 02513.
