Special Announcements

Bollman Technical Education center is having their spring conferences on Thursday, February 12th from 4:00pm to 6:30pm.  Teachers will be in their classrooms to answer any of your questions.  ProStart conferences will be held at the ESC.  For additional information go to the BTEC website at www.Bollmantech.adams12.org

Counseling & Senior News

PSAT Results Are In!  If you took the PSAT in October, come to the counseling office to pick up your results & information on how to access collegeboard.org resources.

Do you want to prepare for the ACT test? Log into your Naviance account and go to PrepMe under Resources for individualized ACT test preparation lessons and tools. The curriculum is online and covers all of the concepts and skills tested on the ACT, including the essay. Anywhere you have internet access, you can work ACT preparation in PrepMe in Naviance.

Sports, Clubs & Drama

Could you please put Crafting Club in the announcements?  We meet Thursdays 3:15 - 4:15 in the library.
Congratulations to the Boy's Basketball team for their 58-42 win Friday night over the ninth ranked Monarch Coyotes. The boy's have a huge game Tuesday night at Boulder High School, see you there!!!

Exciting news from the Horizon Girls Swimming and Diving team!
The Front Range League Championships were held this weekend at the VMAC, and our young ladies did very well, eclipsing our point total from last year.  Head Coach Kristin Warrick and I are also very proud to announce that we have not one, not two, but NINE athletes representing our school at the State Championships, next weekend in Fort Collins!
Two divers qualified, and (including alternates) we have seven swimmers traveling to compete in a total of four events.  They are as follows:

Diving - Katie Nissle, Kayla Rosentrater     200 Freestyle - Courtnie Lingaas    100 Breaststroke - Megan Dudden    

200 Medley Relay - Megan Dudden, Kendra Scofield, Emily Sanchez, Courtnie Lingaas     400 Free Relay - Megan Dudden, Kendra Scofield, Emily Sanchez, Courtnie Lingaas,    Alternates - Nicole Olivieri, Rielyn Sosa, Ally Spangler

Megan Dudden deserves special recognition, as she broke three school records, this year (200 IM, 100 Butterfly and 100 Breaststroke). !

There will be a mandatory LINK leader meeting in Q2714-15 after school on Wednesday. Contact Mrs. Hoffmann or Mrs. Kathan for details.

Tonight is Parent/Coach Meeting at 6:00 in Student Center.
