Drum roll please....The winner of the National School Lunch Prize, an autographed football from the Award winning Peyton Manning is...Katlyn Elliot! All she did was eat a delicious and nutritious lunch to win this fabulous and valuable prize. Congratulations.

Please congratulate Horizon Softball on their remarkable run through the state tournament. They upset #2 Dakota Ridge 9-8 before falling to Broomfield 10-8. Not only is this the first time in school history for a team to qualify for STATE, but they reached the 'Elite 8'! Epic run ladies!

State for Cross Country is at Norris Penrose Event Center, Colorado Springs on October 25th. Girls start at 11:00. Boys start at 1:00.

The Denver Rescue Mission appreciates your support!!! Classes are still welcome to participate in the food drive, just come to room F0607 for a donation box. If every student could bring just one can we would have 2,000 cans. Lets show our Hawk PRIDE!!!!

Horizon FBLA will be hosting our annual blood drive on November 17.  Bonfils will set up in the auditorium lobby for the day.  Please consider donating blood and potentially save three lives!  If you are a minor, there are parent permission forms in E0505.  Please see Mr. Wilke if you have any questions.

Attention Seniors: If you have been accepted to a college or university and have made your final decision to attend, or have decided to enlist in the military, please email Mrs. Moquin in the counseling office with your decision and attach the senior picture of your choice. Your picture will be posted on the senior board in the main lobby!

The Adams 12 School District has a new Girls Diving Coach!!!!
If you are interested in Girls Diving and participating on your school girls swim and dive team please plan on attending an information meeting at the VMAC  today at 4:30pm.  Our new Coach is Sarah Smith and she is looking forward to meeting you and your parents.  The meeting is for both parents and divers next Wednesday!  See you at the VMAC 4:30.
