Bollman Technical Education Center is having their fall conferences on Thursday, October 9th from 4:30pm to 7:30pm.  ProStart conferences will be held at the ESC. All other programs are at BTEC with teachers in their classrooms.  For more information go to the BTEC website at www.bollmantech.org.

Would you like your 1st period class to earn free breakfast? Well, all you have to do is bring in canned good to help the Denver Rescue Mission! FCCLA  will be collecting donations every Tuesday in the month of October from 1st period classes. If you don't have a first period you can still bring in items to the main office or room F0607. What 1st period class can bring their "A" game and show Hawk pride? You "can" make a difference!!!! FCCLA

Come have a rip roarin’ stompin good time at the HHS Barnyard Stomp sponsored by the HHS Orchestra. When and where you ask?  Next Wednesday, October 8th, Al Lesser Building, Adams County Fairgrounds, starting at 5:30 pm.   Free dinner, concert, dancing and lessons.   To top of the evening enjoy the live band Buckstein.

Have you missed a test or need to make up work due to being absent from school?  Well, help is here!  The Academic Success Center is now open. Check with your teacher(s) for make up work, then go to room P2606 on an off hour to make it up.  Be a smart Hawk and get caught up!  The Academic Success Center is open periods 2,3,4,5 and 6.

The admit list for homecoming will be posted outside the Dean's office and is also posted on the school website. It is based upon your attendance at Horizon High School. If you are not on the admit list to the Homecoming dance please see your Dean as soon as possible to see what can be done in order for you to attend the dance. 

You scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream. Nutrition Services is proud to announce that we are now selling Blue Bell Ice Cream. To begin we will offer a Chocolate Fudge bar, A Sour Green Apple Pop, and frozen yogurt cups both chocolate and strawberry. Come to the Al A Carte Room and treat yourself. The more we eat the more kinds we will have to savor.

All Community Service Club members and other students interested in helping out at Lifeline Puppy Rescue: We will meet this Saturday, Oct 4, at 9:30 am at the HHS flagpole to carpool for our shift from 10 am-1:00 pm. Remember to bring $7 for a volunteer T-shirt.
