Attention Horizon Hawks! Horizon’s The Profile will be doing a carwash at Firestone Complete Auto Care on 3720 E. 120thAve on May 4th. If your car drastically needs a cleaning, please come out and support our school! In addition to getting a discounted wash, South Philly Cheesesteaks and Yogurt Yum has offered to give our school 20% of the profit. Make sure to show your coupon or mention Horizon High School’s carwash if you decide to grab lunch or a snack in those two places.
Now is the time to buy your yearbooks! You can buy your yearbook at jostensyearbooks.com or go to the Horizon web page and click on the “Yearbook” tab. Yearbooks are $75.00 and distribution will begin for all grades today.
To all students: Do not leave your backpack unattended at any time during the school day.
Students: The library has over 700 books that are overdue. Please come in and renew or return your books to avoid any further fees or fines.
Senior Updates
Graduation practice and check-out is this Thursday, May 8th. You must park in student parking and enter through the Athletic entrance. Be here at 9:45 to start practice promptly at 10:00 a.m. The BBQ & Check-out will follow immediately after practice. For your check-out time, see the dot color on your name card and the corresponding time on the check-out poster.
Seniors: you must make sure all of your fees/fines are paid and you have completed the Senior survey before Thursdays graduation practice and check-out. You will NOT be allowed to go through the check-out process if you have not completed the survey and paid your fees/fines. Lockers should be cleaned out before you leave on Wednesday and all books returned to your teachers.
