Horizon High School orchestra is performing today at 7 p.m. The orchestra will be performing with several special guests and it is a concert not to be missed. Come and hear the orchestra perform Dance Macabre and Monster Mash along with several other Halloween selections. The concert is free and open to the public; bring the whole family or just a group of friends - There will be lots of music for everyone. These strings can swing!
The Hawk Supply Store is open for business!! Do you need a pencil? paper? gum? sticky notes? The Store has them all for a great price. Store is open 1st, 6th, and 8th hour daily!
Counseling
Seniors: The Daniels Fund Scholarship is now open with a deadline of Nov. 15th. This scholarship pays for 100% of your college expenses; however, families must first show economic need before the application process can begin. For more information see Ms. Blue in the Counseling Office or go to the Daniels Fund website at www.DanielsFund.org and take their eligibility questionnaire.

Students: If you are planning on joining basketball, wrestling or girls swimming this winter, you must pick up the athletic packet in the athletic office. Athletic check-in is next week October 28th – November 1st and all paperwork must be turned in before you can practice.
Congratulations to the boys' Cross Country team on a great season, finishing 7th at regionals and accomplishing many personal and team goals.
Congratulations to the girls' Cross Country team on a great year! Megan Mooney and Natalie Platil finished 6th and 8th overall at regionals followed by the team taking 4th and qualifying for state. Wish us luck this weekend as the varsity girls travel to Colorado Springs to compete in the State Cross Country meet.
