Announcements: Thursday, 10-17-2013

All across America, school cafeterias are serving nutritious and tasty meals to students.  This week is National School Lunch Week and to celebrate we are giving away free movie tickets to one lucky student who eats lunch with us this week.  Come help us celebrate National School Lunch Week.

Trunk or Treat this Sunday, October 20th from 2:00 –5:00.  Being your little goblins for fun and treats.

Attention seniors: The deadline to submit your senior photo and quotation for the yearbook is coming up on Friday, October 18. For detailed instructions on submitting your photo and quotation, please go to the yearbook link under clubs and activities from the Horizon home page.

The Hawk Supply Store is open for business!! Do you need a pencil? paper? gum? sticky notes? The Store has them all for a great price. Store is open 1st, 6th, and 8th hour daily!


Seniors:  The Daniels Fund Scholarship is now open with a deadline of Nov. 15th.  This scholarship pays for 100% of your college expenses; however, families must first show economic need before the application process can begin.  For more information see Ms. Blue in the Counseling Office or go to the Daniels Fund website at and take their eligibility questionnaire.

Bat Boy, the Musical starts tonight at 7 p.m., If you can’t make tonights show, have no fear, it’s playing tomorrownight too, same time, same place.  Tickets $8, Adults $10, Online ticket sales at, Tickets also sold at the door, don't miss out! This is the perfect send up for Halloween, a pop-rock comedy musical, about a Bat Boy.
