Congratulations to the HHS Marching Hawks got 2nd place out of 8 bands at this past Saturday's parade in Arvada.
The Royal Image Boutique Trunk Show will be at the Marriott Denver South this Sunday, September 15 from 11:00 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Come find your inexpensive Homecoming dress, shoes accessories or save them for Prom at the end of the Year. For more information come to the Main Office.
If you are bringing a guest to Homecoming that does not go to Horizon High School please pick up a permission slip in the Dena’s Office
Students: the Hawk Supply Store is open for business!! Do you need a pencil? paper? gum? sticky notes? The Store has them all for a great price. Store is open 1st, 6th, and 8th hour daily!
Counseling
Students: It’s never too early to start making decisions about what to do after high school, and “College Fairs” are the coolest, fastest, easiest way to start! “College Fairs” have 20-50 different colleges set up in one big room so you can do “One-Stop-Shopping” to gather information about sports, dorms, scholarships, majors, etc. Whatever your questions, these experts will have the answers! The 2013-14 “College Fair” closest to Horizon will be at Holy Family High School in Broomfield on Thursday, Sept 19, from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. IT’S IMPORTANT TO ATTEND! GRADES 9-12 ARE WELCOME!

Head Girls' Basketball Coach Ti Streff would like to invite all Horizon girls who are interested in playing basketball to the all players meeting on Thursday, Sept. 12th at 4 pm in the Student Commons. Open gyms will begin Sept. 16th in the auxiliary gym, every Monday and Thursday from 4-5:30. Beginning Oct. 8th, the captains will lead conditioning for an hour after school. More details to come. All boys interested in Boys Basketball are invited to open gym from 6-7:30 p.m. every Monday & Wednesday.
